Why book a private driver
A group tour runs to a timetable. A hire car means driving on the left, navigating and parking at every stop. With your own driver you see the same places on your schedule, and nobody in your group has to drive.

Airport transfers from Cape Town International
The drive from CPT to the City Bowl or the V&A Waterfront is about 25 minutes outside rush hour. Prices are one way and per vehicle. A return is twice the one-way price.

Prices
Per vehicle, not per person. The price includes your driver, fuel, parking and road tolls. It does not include attraction entry fees — for example Cape Point and Boulders Beach — meals or tips. From 15 December to 10 January, prices are 15% higher.
Pounds shown at £1 = R21.50. You pay by card in rand.

An accredited tourist transport operator with an operating licence. Passengers are insured on every trip.

Questions
Is the price per person?
No. It covers the vehicle and driver: up to 3 passengers in the sedan, 7 in the people carrier and 6 in the luxury van.
Is it safe to get around Cape Town?
With a driver, the parts visitors worry about are taken care of: unfamiliar roads, parking, and getting back to your hotel at night. Our drivers know the city and hold professional driving permits, every car is GPS-tracked, and passengers are insured on every trip.
How much luggage fits?
The sedan takes 3 medium suitcases. The people carrier and the luxury van take 8. If you have more or larger bags, add a note when you book and we will suggest the right car.
How do I pay?
Airport transfers and full days booked at least 24 hours ahead can be paid by card when you book, and the booking is confirmed at once. For other trips, or if you prefer, send a request: we confirm first, then send a Yoco card payment link. Payments go through Yoco with 3-D Secure, in South African rand. Your bank converts it, so your statement can differ slightly from the pounds or dollars shown here.
Are prices higher over Christmas and New Year?
Yes. From 15 December to 10 January, prices are 15% higher. These dates are marked in the booking calendar, and the price updates when you choose one.
What if my flight is delayed?
We track it and move the pickup. Waiting is free for up to 2 hours after you land. After that, extra time is charged at the hourly rate in our price list.
Can we change stops during the day?
Yes, as long as you stay within the hours and kilometres booked. Tell your driver on the day.
Do the drivers speak English?
Yes, all of them.
Should I tip the driver?
It is up to you and never expected. In South Africa, guests who tip usually give around 10% for a full day.
How do I cancel?
Send us a WhatsApp message up to 24 hours before pickup and we refund in full. If you cancel later than that, or do not show, we refund 50%.
